At Overlake Reproductive Health, we set out to be a personalized, boutique-style fertility center, emphasizing individualized care with an informed and consistent care team.

We aim to set the standard for fertility care, with experienced clinicians and laboratory staff, a state-of-the-art clean room IVF facility, innovative protocols and the latest technology – all dedicated toward successful pregnancies for our patients, some of whom have faced years of infertility and / or multiple miscarriages.

We are proud to have achieved the 7th highest pregnancy rate in the under 35 year old age group in the USA, and the highest in Western Washington in 2010! We This is based on the most up-to-date national data available from the Centers for Disease Control. *

Our world-class IVF success rates are real, meaning that we aren’t pushing IVF to patients that don’t need it; some clinics are aggressive about pushing better prognosis patients sooner to IVF to improve their pregnancy rates.

We appreciate this honor and we will continue to work hard to combine medical excellence with a caring approach, supporting our patients at every step of their fertility journey.

I just read an interesting article at the Slate.com, by Sarah Elizabeth Richards, titled, “In Defense of IVF Twins.” Sarah talks about the advantages of transferring multiple embryos over a single embryo transfer (SET) during an in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle. She makes some good points and transferring more than one embryo may be the right choice to make for many couples in their fertility treatment.

However, there are pros and cons of each route and what’s right for one couple may not be the best choice for another. We believe every patient is unique there isn’t one “right” answer to this question. There are a lot of personal and biological factors to weigh, and our infertility doctors will help you make an informed decision on transfer day by discussing your options thoroughly so you can do what’s best for you.

Dear Dr. Johnson, Jo, and everyone else –

We wanted to let you know of the arrival of our twins!! It was wonderful to finally meet them, after the last few months of the pregnancy were made more challenging by gestational diabetes, early contractions, and mild pregnancy induced hypertension. Fortunately everyone was healthy, and now they are growing well (both were over 6 pounds by their one month checkup).

We wanted to thank you all for everything you did to help make these two little blessings happen! It was a long, hard road, and we were getting to our last hope of ever having children. Thank you so much for your professionalism, persistence, honest encouragement, and great skill in this difficult process. Even if the outcome had been different, we still would have been very satisfied with the treatment we received. Thankfully though, we were finally granted our little miracles, and now are enjoying the many challenges of parenthood!

Sincerely,
R & L
